Chance The Rapper's Birthday Party Will Be "Better Than Any Festival That Ever Existed"

In honor of his impending 24th birthday, Chance The Rapper is throwing a special “Chance The Birthday” party in the form of something his manager promises will be “better than any festival that ever existed.” The night is booked for this Sunday (April 16) at Chicago’s Paris Studio. Although the flier says the event is “featuring special guests,” none of those guests have actually been announced.

All proceeds are being donated to SocialWorks, a non-profit organization co-founded by Lil Chano that aims to “empower the youth through the arts, education and civic engagement,” according to its website.

“Chance The Birthday” follows last week’s Magnificent Coloring World 2 event, which was an invitation-only, top-secret performance only open to the 0.001 percent of Chance’s top fans on SoundCloud who were from the Chicago area. Speculation is swirling the show might end up on Netflix, but until then, fans can look forward to celebrating another revolution around the sun with their favorite rapper this weekend.
